Laterite Stone is the red and brown stone, laterite, rich in iron, is found in many tropical regions like India, Sri Lanka, Burma, Central and West Africa.

Laterite is a surface deposit of red or brown clay or soil that contains onthe surface of the rocks and was produced by decomposition.
